
How To Do EFT
1.Choose specific problem (i.e., “back pain” or “anxiety”) 2.Determine rate of severity (1-10) 3.Do Set-Up: While tapping karate chop spot on either hand, repeat affirmation 3 times: “Even though I have this “anxiety”, I deeply and completely accept/love myself.” 4.Tap the following spots while repeating the reminder phrase, (“this anxiety or back pain”. Be an observer of yourself as you are tapping and be aware of thoughts or feelings. You may want to tap on them later.

5.Take a deep breath 6.Assess severity 7.If above 1, repeat set-up while tapping karate chop spot repeating the following affirmation: “Even though I Still have some of this anxiety, I deeply and completely accept myself.” 8.Tap all of the spots again, saying reminder phrase “remaining anxiety.” 9.Deep breathe & assess severity. 10.Repeat if necessary. 11.End each tapping session with one round of tapping and say on each spot a version of this: “I now choose“ (i.e., peace, well being). 12.Journal as it feels good!
